Award-winning Australian interior designer, Greg Natale brings his signature Modernist-Maximalist aesthetic to a striking range of cowhide floor and wall designs for Art Hide. 

Altro Mondo, meaning “other world” in Italian, is inspired by the radical design ethos and innovative architecture of famous Italian discotheques from the 1970s through the 1990s. 

Capturing the high-voltage spirit unique to these otherworldly spaces, Altro Mondo draws inspiration from their raw urban forms of Brutalist, Postmodernist, and Space-Age design styles.

“Before this collaboration, I admired Art Hide’s products for their luxurious, artisan quality, and in designing Altro Mondo, I was heavily inspired by the customisable nature of their process. I’ve loved pushing the boundaries of what people typically expect from hide by utilizing Art Hide’s range of treatments and techniques, and this playful experimentation is evident in the fusions of different shapes, the unconventional colour combinations, and the mixed-metallic accents that give Altro Mondo its unique edge.”
