Art Hide's laser-etched cowhide rugs are among the most technically refined pieces we produce. Using state-of-the-art laser technology, intricate patterns are burned directly into the surface of premium cowhide; no dyes, no paint, no printing. The result is a permanent, tactile design that responds to the natural variation of each hide.

Bolder motifs use deeper laser passes to create pronounced texture and shadow. Fine repeat patterns use feathered etching to produce a subtle, almost woven appearance. No two rugs are identical. The natural grain, texture and colour variation of the cowhide means every piece is unique.

All Art Hide lasered rugs are finished with commercial-grade nylon thread and a ribbon edge finish for lifelong durability. Available in round, rectangle and runner formats, and shipped worldwide from our studios in Australia and the USA.
