Art Hide for The Home

Be excited guys.....for the first time, Art Hide has created a limited edition range exclusively for The Home with very special prices! Available for nine days only, the event goes live Friday February 20 until Sunday March 1. Art Hide only works the very best quality cowhide, and tanneries that don’t use methods that are dangerous to workers or that pollute the environment. Kura Perkins, founder, said: "We worked really closely with our fantastic Argentinian team of leather artists for this range, to plan the designs to utilise offcuts in order to reduce waste. Another benefit is that this in turn reduces the end cost for the customer.” About the range, Designer Bree Hay Hendry said: "We love working with good quality saturated colours, especially mixed back with our gorgeous natural hide colours. For this range for The Home, we looked at juxtaposing warm hot colours such as tangerine, cherry and candy pink with cool natural greys. We also incorporated natural brindle greys with bold colour gradients, like deep cobalt and cerise. We looked at rainbow spectrum colours, reds turning into pinks and oranges, matched back with warm caramels for a fun new take on stripes. We were also exited to work with new tessellation shapes in the range, such as combining two different shaped tiles within a rug, which is a first here at Art Hide."
